Queen Elizabeth 11 is slated to visit Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda.
All is being done to receive Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth to a wildlife park Queen Elizabeth National Park named after her. This will be her second visit to this national park after her visit in 1950s. The British High Commission to Uganda Gordon Francois, last week toured Queen Elizabeth national park in preparation for this historic visit of the Queen.
The Queen among her travels, she will be making in Uganda on the Commonwealth Heads of Meeting taking place from 23rd November 2007. Francois accompanied by the State Minister Serapio Rukundo on charter flight to Kasese airfield was received by the district chairman Julius Kithaghenda.
The entourage inspected one the famous park’s tracks Kikorongo track and Mweya Safari Lodge where the Queen may spend overnight. The lodge has been given a new facelift and is ready to receive the Queen.
