TH14 Days: The Unique Uganda Safari Circuit Tour

City Tour, Kasubi tombs, Uganda Museum,Lake Mburo, Lake Bunyonyi, Bwindi gorillas, Queen Elizabeth, Kibale Forest chimpanzee, Murchison Falls shoebil stock, Jinja source River Nile , Entebbe Botanical gardens.

Day 1 : Entebbe airport Transfer to Kampala
Meet at the Airport dinner and overnight at Serena Hotel/ Sheraton /Hotel Africana or Holiday Express Hotel in Kampala.

Day 2 : Cultural Tour to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast carryout Kampala city tour visiting Kasubi Tombs see the biggest hut in the world,Uganda museum, then drive to Lake Mburo National Park, evening game drive or boat cruise. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3 : Lale Mburo Game viewing to Lake Bunyonyi
Morning game drive adventure and proceed to Kabale with lunch stop in Mbarara. Proceed to Lake Bunyonyi and overnight Habuharo Lodge on the islands / at Acadia cottages/ Bunyonyi Overland Camp.

Day 4 : Lake Bunyonyi to Bwindi Gorilla Forest Park
Morning boat ride on lake Bunyonyi- bird watching tour, scenery viewing, after lunch transfer to Bwindi national park famous for mountain gorilla tracking. Dinner and overnight at lake Gorilla Forest camp/Gorilla Valley Lodge/Kitandara Tented Camp or Community Bandas.

Day 5 : Bwindi Gorilla Tracking
Day for gorilla tracking. Morning will be led by your driver guide to the park headquarters for briefing. With packed lunch after briefing and local guides start tracking gorillas. Tracking takes 2-8 hours depending on the movement of these gentle giants. Dinner and Overnight.

Day 6 : Gorilla tracking or Climbing Lions
Optional to take 2nd day of gorilla trekking. Or after break fast drive to Ishasha carryout game drive looking for  climbing lions in the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari Lodge/Jacana Safari loge/ Institute Hostel for budget.

Day 7 : Wildlife Adventure in the Queen Elizabeth Park
Game drive in Queen Elizabeth Park. Afternoon take Boat cruise on Kazinga channel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 8 : Chimpanzee Tracking then to Fort Portal
Morning track chimpanzees in Kyambura gorge or game drive exploring all chances of seeing game after picnic lunch proceed to Kibale Forest National Park or Fort Portal town. Dinner overnight Ndali Lodge or Fort Motel or Toro Resort.

Day 9 : Primate walk in Kibale Forest National Park
Day for chimpanzee tracking. Afternoon visit Bigodi swamp eco-site sanctuary for primates and bird watching. Dinner and overnight.

Day 10 : Kibale to Murchison Falls National Park
Depart for Murchison Falls National Park. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge or Sambiya River Lodge or Red Chili Camp.

Day 11: Day for Wildlfe Tour in Murchison Falls
Morning game drive, afternoon boat cruise on River Nile seein alot of huge crocodiles, schools of hippos. Dinner and overnight.

Day 12 : Top of the Falls and Budongo Forest
Visit top of the falls and drive through Budongo Forest seeing the iron trees unique to Africa- Mahogany, Muvule in this rainy forest. Dinner and overnight at Serena . Sheraton/Hotel Africana or Holiday Express Hotel in Kampala.

Day 13 : Trip to Jinja white water Rafting on the Nile
Kampala to Jinja. (White water rafting is optional and cost $ 95 per person). Or you will visit the source of River Nile, Bujagali falls and proceed to Entebbe overnight at Entebbe Resort/Windsor Lake Victoria Hotel for upmarket or Sophie’s Motel / Flight Motel for budget.

Day 14: Airport Transfer
After breakfast visit Entebbe Botanical gardens if time allows, be transferred to the Airport for your home bound flight

Gorilla tracking and other special notes on this tour:
Safari can be booked privately for daily departures.
Gorilla tracking takes place at either Buhoma (north) of Bwindi park or the Kisoro side (south) accessing the New group of Nkuringo.
Itinerary can run in reverse order depending on the gorilla permits availability dates.
Rafting is optional and cost $95 per person
