Bwindi and Serengeti National Parks Linked on Same Day By Flying Safaris
On 15th December Coastal Aviation will start daily flights between the Seregenti and Entebbe to link with fly Uganda Services to major national parks in Uganda . These include Murchison falls, Kibale Forest , Queen Elizabeth , and Bwindi National parks.
The Morning East bound Fly Uganda flights will pick passengers from Uganda national parks to Kajjansi and fly out of Entebbe with Coastal Aviation at 13.00hrs to Serengenti. The Morning west bound Coastal Aviation flight will pick up passengers from Kilmanjaro, Manyara and Serengeti arriving in Entebbe at 12.15 hrs to clear customs and Immigration. Then will continue with fly Uganda to Uganda National parks. This will be on daily schedule. Tourist to do Uganda safaris from Serengeti and other parts of Tanzania will now be easy.
Uganda national parks lack regular flight connections. When this type of fight connections begin will see more tourists coming to do Uganda safaris. Uganda is land locked country and can only be connected to the outside world by flights.
The Entebbe airport is the only international airport hub in the country. But exists other aerodromes in other parks of the country. All national parks have landing airstrips well maintained and allow charter flights to land and take off. At Murchison falls for example we have Bugungu and Pakuba airstrips. At Bwindi we use Kayonza or Ishasha airstrips. At Bwindi Mountain gorillas will be tracked easily without the long distance of driving 10 hours journey to Bwindi. So now when flying safaris start to Bwindi, people can spend even 2 days to track gorillas.
Uganda flying safaris will increase when regular flights begin connecting our national parks. There will be less charter flights and regular flight package will be cheaper and affordable to many. We are looking forward to successful start of this adventure and increase vistors to our national parks.
