4 Days Rwanda Itinerary

Day 1: .

Air Port Transfer

Upon arrival Kigali International Airport where you will be met by your representative from Travel hemispheres limited who will transfer you to your Hotel for overnight.

 

Day 2:

Kigali Rwanda – Ruhengeri.

You will be picked from Hotel in Kigali after breakfast and set off to track gorillas in Parc de Volcanoes National Park the home of Mountain Gorillas. It is estimated half of the world’s surviving population of mountain gorillas live within these boundaries shared by Uganda, Rwanda and Congo. Drive from Kigali and continue to Ruhengeri with lunch stopover on the way, dinner and Overnight will be at Mountain Gorilla View lodge.

 

Day 3:

Gorilla Trekking

Morning after breakfast with packed lunch, you will be driven to the park offices for briefing. You will be allocated different families to track. To make sure that most of the group track in same families, you need to be early at the park offices so that allocation is done first for your group. Your will then be off from the park offices to begin your adventure. A briefing from your local guide and then it’s off! The time taken and the terrain varies (2- 8 hours) this depends on the movement of these gentle giants. The thrill of meeting face to face takes away the pain of some times long and arduous trek. Each encounter is different and has its own rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in delightfully playful manner.

 

You will need to carry long pants like soft a type allowing movement easy, sturdy shoes to help you hiking steep and slippery slopes, long sleeved shirts and blouses to protect your bodies from thorns and itching plants. You may not rule out raining on you and at least a rain coat is needed to protect your bodies and any equipment carried along with like cameras. Also carry insect repellants and sun scream

 

After trekking return to your lodge facility and overnight.

 

Day 4                                     

Ruhengeri, City tour Airport Transfer

In the morning after breakfast you will be driven back to Kigali, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial site, The Centre is built on a site where over 250,000 people are buried. These graves are a clear reminder of the cost of ignorance. The Centre is a permanent memorial to those who fell victim to the genocide and serves as a place for people to grieve those they lost. After this you will be driven to the airport to check in as you wait for your flight End of Safari

 

Pease note the safari cost includes:

• meals and accommodation
• full time safari driver/guides,
• Park entry fees and all activities while on safari and all the applicable Government Taxes.
• 4×4 wheel drive vehicle with gas
• Airport transfers.
• 1Gorilla permit per person.

4 Days Rwanda Itinerary

 

 

Day 1:

Air Port Transfer

Upon arrival Kigali International Airport at 1:15am will be met by a representative from Travel hemispheres Limited who will transfer you to your lodge for overnight.

 

Day 2:

Kigali Rwanda – Ruhengeri.

You will be picked from Hotel Chez Lando in Kigali after breakfast and set off to track gorillas in Parc de Volcanoes National Park the home of Mountain Gorillas. It is estimated half of the world’s surviving population of mountain gorillas –300 live within these boundaries shared by Uganda, Rwanda and Congo. Drive from Kigali and continue to Ruhengeri with lunch stopover on the way, dinner and Overnight will be at Mountain Gorilla View lodge.

 

Day 3:

Gorilla Tracking- Kisoro

Morning after breakfast with packed lunch, you will be driven to the park offices for briefing. You will be allocated different families to track. Day 4

Ruhengeri, City tour Airport Transfer
