Clients who do not wish to track gorillas in the group can pay less gorilla permit in Bwindi park and Mgahinga park permit cost is $700 and {Rwanda $1500 not covered in the cost}. However for clients who may cross border to Rwanda , we have standardized our gorilla programs to allow flexibility to track in all gorilla parks mentioned including Rwanda in order not to miss out on viewing these gentle giants. Clients will be requested to top up on gorilla permit, border crossing fee and accommodation if tracking will be done in Rwanda. In Birding safaris gorilla tracking has been taken as an option. Clients who wish to track gorillas will add permit fees on the stated price.
Bwindi gorilla permits sell out first and clients need to try other parks because viewing is the same. However Mgahinga Gorillas at times cross border to DRC and Rwanda and make tracking impossible.
