Interpol to deploy during Commonwealth summit
International Police commonly known as Interpol will be deployed in Uganda during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) due to take place November 2007. The International Police chief for Eastern Africa, Awaid Dahia, has said.The Inspector General of Police Kale Kaihura wrote to Interpol requesting for backing during CHOGM. According Dahia, they provide technical assistance during major events worldwide like the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
Tour areas have also been already identified where delegates will be for a leisurely excursion. Queen Elizabeth National Park and most likely the source of the Nile are one of the places most likely to be visited.
